Who we are
Throughway AI (“Throughway,” “we,” “us”) is a California limited liability company headquartered in Vacaville, California. This policy explains how we handle information you give us through this website and during the course of an engagement.
Information we collect
- Information you submit through forms on this site: name, company, email, phone, revenue range, industry, and any details you choose to share about your business.
- Server logs automatically generated when you visit the site: IP address, browser, pages requested, timestamps. Used for security and uptime monitoring.
- Engagement records: contracts, invoices, project documents, and correspondence you provide while we work together.
How we use it
- To respond to inquiries you submit through this site.
- To deliver, support, and improve the services we’ve been hired to perform.
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
- To operate and secure this site.
What we do not do
- Sell, rent, or trade your information.
- Use your business data to train public AI models.
- Share your information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of service providers to run the business — for example email delivery, hosting, and accounting. They process information only on our instructions, strictly to provide those services to us, and are contractually barred from using it for their own purposes. Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, and texting consent are never shared with any third party, affiliate, or service provider.
Cookies
This site uses minimal first-party cookies for basic operation and (optionally) a single privacy-respecting analytics cookie if enabled. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
Google user data
Clients using the Throughway platform can choose to connect a Google account (for example, Google Calendar) so our software can schedule appointments on their behalf. When you connect Google Calendar through our OAuth flow, we access:
- Calendar events and free/busy information — read to determine open appointment slots, and write to create the appointments you or your callers book.
- Your Google account email address — used to label the connected account inside your workspace.
We use this data solely to provide scheduling features inside the Throughway platform — checking availability and creating bookings you request. We do not use Google user data for advertising, do not sell it, do not use it to train AI models, and no human at Throughway reads it except with your permission for support, for security purposes, or as required by law. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted at rest and are deleted when you disconnect the account, which you can do at any time from your workspace settings or from your Google account permissions. You can also request deletion of all associated data by emailing hello@throughway.ai.
Throughway’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
SMS text notifications
Clients using the Throughway platform can choose to receive SMS text notifications about activity in their own workspace — for example, a text to a business’s staff when its AI receptionist captures a new lead, takes a message, or books an appointment. Phone numbers are added by the workspace owner inside the platform’s notification settings, with the staff member’s consent; we never collect numbers for texting from the public and we do not send marketing texts.
- No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We do not sell, rent, or trade this information.
- You can stop receiving texts at any time by removing your number in the platform’s notification settings or by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP or email hello@throughway.ai for help.
- Message frequency varies with your business’s call activity. Message and data rates may apply.
- Customer appointment messages. Businesses using the Throughway platform can also send their own customers transactional text messages — appointment reminders and confirmations, and a post-visit feedback request. These are sent only after the customer opts in themselves by ticking an unchecked consent box on the business’s public booking page. Frequency is usually 1–5 messages per appointment. No marketing messages are sent. Message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to any message to opt out, HELP for help. Mobile numbers and opt-in data are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Security
We protect information using reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. Throughway AI is backed by Synthera Technology’s in-house cybersecurity practice. No system is perfectly secure; if we ever experience a breach affecting your information, we will notify you in line with applicable law.
